Education and Professional Positions
Kara received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Westmont College in 2005. She graduated with honors and was given the esteemed department award of Top Psychology Senior of the Year (Willard F. Harley Award).
She is currently enrolled in Colorado Christian University, obtaining her Masters degree in Counseling. At CCU, Kara has completed all necessary coursework, and is currently at Legacy completing her clinical internship. She has extensive research experience, and has presented her Master's research at the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association in Idaho (2008).
In Santa Barbara, California, Kara worked at the Devereux Foundation, a residential treatment facility for adults, teens and children.
